Hey there! I am Anika Mittal
I’m a California-based UX designer with a passion for storytelling, understanding people’s experiences, and embracing creativity. I advocate for users, consistently placing myself in their mindset to design solutions that truly meet their needs.
I recently graduated with degrees in Cognitive Science and Film & Digital Media, where I discovered the connection between these fields, shaping my interdisciplinary approach to design.
My expertise in human cognition, research methods, narrative techniques, and visualizing ideas enables me to craft engaging, user-friendly interfaces that resonate on both cognitive and emotional levels. Roles as a Multimedia Manager and Video Content Intern, along with a UI/UX Bootcamp at UC Berkeley, have honed my skills in creating content that connects with audiences.
I’ve since designed solutions for nonprofits, taught UX, and explored Gen AI’s role in enhancing social media interactions. Driven by the desire to make people feel, I’m continually evolving my approach and seeking teams that challenge my creativity and expand my worldview.
